Web Production Team Lead / Sr. Web Producer

You are an experienced technical professional having long ago cut your teeth on the most demanding of web application projects. Through your hard work you have shown your natural leadership ability, and this skill is what you will bring to TL Design’s Web Production team.

Charged with ensuring the success of numerous web / programming online projects, you are responsible for the successful prioritization and harmonization of sometimes conflicting client deliverables and deadlines, and for keeping team members on track with multiple project timelines. Communicating with clients and managing internal resources are essential components of your success, however, a large part of your role is to roll up your sleeves and pitch in.

Your status as Web Production Guru will become self evident as you coach, motivate and direct team members to new heights of productivity.

In client-facing situations, you are able to easily comprehend client requirements, formulate accurate specifications and clearly articulate job parameters to the team, as well as back to the client in written form. Estimating, and doing so accurately, is a long-honed skill of yours on which Management can rely for setting attainable targets.

Adherence to processes and a significant contribution to the streamlining and implementation of quality assurance procedures will be objectives that you will attain while juggling day-to-day production. Your ability to make continued improvements to the operations of your team while meeting and exceeding customer expectations will be standards upon which you success will be measured.

Required Experience:

• “I can do it in my sleep” familiarity of HTML coding standards, PHP development processes, Javascript/AJAX, database design (MySQL), Unix hosting environment
• Project Management, Software Development Planning and Implementation methodology
• Experience particularily in developing web applications such as Event and Member management systems, CMS’s and live e-commerce web stores
• Familiarity with Cross-browser compatibility issues, software development best practices, unix hosting best practices
• Supervisory experience, demonstrated ability to obtain performance and accountability from team members.
